By free, I do mean FREE ...but PLEASE
DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO THE GRAPHICS ON THIS SITE.
Instead, please save them to your own hard drive.
To preview the tile as a full sized background click on a thumbnail.
Download the tile(s) by right clicking anywhere on the full size page
then choose "SAVE BACKGROUND AS".
You can also right-click on any thumbnail or full-size tile page & choose "SET
AS WALLPAPER".
Suddenly you have that tile as your desktop wallpaper.
Note for Paint Shop Pro Users
Most of my tiles (& thumbnails) can easily be downloaded for use as Textures in your
PSP program.
For Macintosh (Mac, iMac) users :
In case you don't know, I must tell you that the right click anywhere & "save
background as" feature is not available on Macintosh.
This info was recently provided to me by an experienced Mac user.
His website, GORDYLAND, is made with a Mac.
Due to the format of this site, & the fact that my webspace provider doesn't allow zip
files, any Mac users can feel free to email me
& I'll be glad to send you a zip file of any tile(s) you may be interested in.
There are now 22 pages of mostly seamless tiles & each page has 36 tiles.
I have also added Memorial tiles, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's
& St Patrick's Day tiles.
You can use the
javascript nav-bar on the left to get directly to any of the tiles pages.
Once on any given page, if you prefer, you can choose to use the BACK-NEXT buttons on
those pages.
All the links on this page will open in a new window except the HOME, Webrings
& Awards links.
But once on any Tiles pages, you go back & forth in the same window.
If your browser does not support javascript, there is a text-link SITE MENU at the
bottom.
If your browser is IE 5.5 or better, you will see the scroll-bar in colour. If you
do & you want
the script, you can go get it where I did...right HERE. (lots more stuff at that site
too).
I will add that this site is best viewed on my old pc & my old 15" monitor,
where it was born.
Fact is, it looks nowhere near as good on my new pc with it's 17" monitor, where
colours look faded.
My old pc was set at 600 by 800 resolution & 16 bit colour. The colours were intensely
deep & rich.
My new pc is set at 1024 by 768 resolution. I tried both 16 bit & 24 bit colour ..no
differance, the intensity is gone.
On Mar 6th, 2003, I have received my 4th Award so I created
Jamba's Awards

My Hallowe'en page has won an Award from the RAOK Awards Committee
which can be seen full size on the Hallowee'en page itself.
This entire Site has also won an Award from New Cyber Tech.
I did not apply for either of these awards so they mean a lot to me,
(particularly as I have no clue what I'm doing half the time).
This site has also won a third Award from International Artists and Artisans, 2002.
And now this site has won the 2003 International Artists and Artisans Award.
All 4 Awards & the Sites from which they came can be seen on my Awards Page.
Best I know, there are no duplicate
tiles on these pages. But many of the tiles appear much the same in thumbnail format. The
thumbnails are only 'hints' & can sometimes deceive you. Best bet is go to the
full size page to really see them. Even then, some are quite similar with only very
subtle differances, esp the very dark ones. Namely the effect they have, if you
will, is to look like black or near-black backgrounds in bright natural light, but to show
subtle colour &/or texture FXs in regular incandescent or fluorescent room
lighting...so be aware of this if choosing dark tiles.
Again, my TILES are FREE for ALL..as in NO STRINGS.
I would truly prefer & greatly appreciate a "link-back" ...but it is not
required.
If you do link back to me & wish me to link back to you too, please notify me
by email or in my guestbook as I will link to * most * anyone who links to me.
